JOB DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY
Our ideal installer is a person who can bring their energy, construction knowledge and professionalism to install all the brands we sell. Installers will prepare for installations, install windows and doors to manufacturers specifications or local building authority codes to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers. They will deal with projects of all sizes, budgets, and work with customers from all walks of life. Installers need to adapt to each project, find the best solutions to conditions and establish themselves as a professional when working in customers’ homes. Attention to detail, accountability, combined with problem solving skills and ability to work as a team will be keys to success in this position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- • Installation of windows & doors per manufacturer specifications
- • Complete interior and exterior trim work
- • Loading of materials and pre-installation preparation
- • Breakdown and cleaning of worksite areas
- • Develop good customer relations and maintain high level of service
- • Perform installation and apply methods determined by lead installer
- • Clean and organize trucks daily
- • Perform the required amount of work in the alotted period of time
- • Assist others when necessary (fellow employees and customers)
- • Communicate well throughout organization

SUMMARY
The ideal warehouse associate will be prepared to handle the challenges of working with windows and doors. Warehouse understands the importance of handling materials that are both potentially heavy and fragile. They are the first ones to handle products as they arrive, and fulfill the duties that correspond with each job, from loading and unloading to storage and delivery. They will deal with projects of all sizes, budgets, and work with customers from all walks of life. Warehouse associates adapt, assist, and communicate effectively when handling products, and establish themselves as a professional when working with customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- • Unloading of product from manufacturer’s trailer
- • Delivery of products to customer or business location
- • Storage of products in warehouse
- • Prepping materials for next day installation
- • Restocking installation materials
- • Operating heavy machinery (forklift and order picker)
- • Driving and navigating to various locations
- • Assist others when necessary (fellow employees and customers)
- • Handling of product and assisting customers when necessary

JOB DESCRIPTION

- FLSA Status: Non-Exempt - Hourly
SUMMARY
Our ideal Retail Sales Representative is a person who can bring their energy, construction knowledge and a willingness to learn to promote the brands we sell. Retail sales reps will be conducting in home sales presentations, surveying existing job conditions, and preparing proposals for customers. They will deal with projects of all sizes, budgets, and customers from all walks of life. Sales reps need to adapt to each customer, create relationships quickly and establish themselves as a knowledgeable professional in their field. Organization, attention to detail, time management, combined with strong communication & presentation skills will be keys to success in this position. We represent the entire Marvin windows line, Infinity by Marvin, Restorations by Sunrise, Mi Windows, ProVia and Thermatru by Benbilt doors.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- • Conduct home survey and in-home sales presentations & pricing
- • Help customers find solutions and products to fit their project needs
- • Assemble product & installation pricing quotations
- • Provide these quotations to customers in a timely and consistent manor
- • Take incoming phone calls and walk-in showroom customers
- • Assist others when necessary (fellow employees and other customers)
- • Communicate well throughout organization
- • Bring an energy and passion to helping customers
OTHER JOB DUTIES
- • Outside salesperson will run appointments (if scheduled) between 8am and 8pm Monday through Friday.
- • Work in office showroom taking walk in customers 4-5 hours, two times per week & every other Saturday per a rotational schedule
- • Outside salesperson must attend sales meetings and training as required by sales manager.
- • Following up on project installations
- • Continuous education of new products, sales techniques and installation methods
- • Other tasks as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- • Able to work 9:00am-8:00pm daily and an alternating Saturday
- • Prior sales experience needed and most preferably in-home sales skills
- • Construction knowledge and understanding of building materials
- • Proficient level of use of Windows 10, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- • Valid NYS license, presentable & reliable transportation
EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE
- • High School diploma
- • Prior sales experience required
- • General construction knowledge
TRAVEL
- Local area travel only
COMPENSATION
- Salary- plus commission on sales, paid weekly. Volume based commissions in addition to sales commission and are paid monthly as sales goals are achieved. The Company will reimburse salesperson for miles driven to and from sales appointments. Mobile phone or reimbursement provided. First year expected earnings of $60-100k+ dependent on personal performance.
