Therma-Tru Tops Entry Door Ranking
Therma-Tru Entry Doors: Study from 2013 Brand Use Study by Remodeling Magazine.
Therma-Tru ranked first among remodelers in the category of entry doors in the 2013 Brand Use Study by Remodeling Magazine. Therma-Tru Corp., based in Maumee, is part of Fortune Brands Home & Security Inc. “Remodelers are a critical audience for our entry door products, so we find it encouraging that they repeatedly rank Therma-Tru as the entry door they use the most on the jobsite,” Mark Savan, president of Therma-Tru, said in a statement.
Therma-Tru was ranked “Brand Used Most in the Past Two Years” according to the study. Therma-Tru also led the entry-door category in 2004, 2006, and 2010, the last three times the survey was conducted.
Methodology of the Study The Brand Use Study was sponsored by Hanley Wood, LLC, publisher of BUILDER magazine, and conducted by Readex, an independent research company based in Stillwater, Minn. A sample of 11,700 was selected from BUILDER’s domestic qualified “builder,” “builder/developer,” and “general contractor” circulation of 73,998 print subscribers. The data was collected from Aug. 2 to Sept. 24, 2012. The findings cited are based on 2,854 usable responses (24 percent of the survey sample), and the margin of error is +/-1.8 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
