That’s because the door exteriors are made from Ultrex® fiberglass, which will not sag, warp or rot. This state-of-the-art pultruded fiberglass material has passed numerous, rigorous tests simulating harsh conditions to earn the American Architectural Manufacturers Association verification, AAMA 624, certifying that Ultrex is the best in class among fiberglass products. Ultrex outperforms and outlasts vinyl, roll-form aluminum, and other fiberglass composites—it’s a virtually indestructible exterior that stands up to rain, sun, wind, heat and time.

With Marvin Elevate patio doors, you’ll also have plenty of design options. You can choose from six exterior colors—Bronze, Ebony, Cashmere, Evergreen, Pebble Gray and Stone White. Ultrex fiberglass resists peeling, fading, cracking and chalking. And if you change your color scheme down the road, you can paint your Ultrex exteriors without voiding the warranty.
Hardware comes in two styles and six finishes: Almond Frost, Matte Black or White, and Brass, Oil-Rubbed Bronze or Satin Nickel metallic finishes protected by a physical vapor deposition (PVD) finish, to resist discoloration.
If you like the look of multiple panes of glass, you can select from grilles-between-the-glass (GBGs), which give your doors a smooth, easy-to-clean surface, or Simulated Divided Lites (SDLs) with or without Spacer Bars for a more authentic look.
